My late father taught me that money is emotional long before I understood the psychology behind it. His commitment to financial security and his passion for long-term investing shaped my belief that money is not just practical, it’s deeply personal.

And yet most people were never taught the emotional side of money: why we overspend when stressed, avoid our bank balance, feel guilt when saving for ourselves, or repeat patterns that no longer serve us.

My work and the creation of Financed Well grew from wanting to bridge that gap.

After training as a holistic financial coach and financial planner, I learned how profoundly our beliefs, behaviours, values, and lived experiences shape our financial lives. Paired with my background in government communications, corporate finance, and years of workplace wellbeing, I now help individuals and teams understand why they behave the way they do with money and how to change those patterns for good.
